Zetland Media is a production company committed to creating quality, hard-hitting and issue driven content. Founded by British actress Katharine Lee McEwan, the company gets its name from The Zetland - the oldest surviving lifeboat in the world currently stationed in a museum in Katharine’s hometown of Redcar, North East England.
Zetland Media’s mission is to make entertaining, meaningful films that aspire to transcend barriers, heal wounds and bring tough subjects into the light. Past projects include several award-winning short films and the award-winning British feature film Solitary. Described as “Spare, nuanced and painfully real” Solitary was released by Electric Entertainment and is available to watch on Amazon and iTunes.
